Creating a new pedal in this sonic territory is a true challenge: how do you avoid yet another pointless clone while still keeping the recognizable roots of the original tone?

The Dual Drive was born out of this very need: to take everything we love about the 808 and adapt it to today’s music.

Thanks to its two independent gain controls, you can switch between two distinct sonic worlds without manually operating the pedal. In addition, the presence of two separate clipping circuits offers a solid alternative to the classic tone we're used to.

By activating the More Drive mode (Yellow LED + Blue LED), you achieve heavier saturation, always enriched with that subtle compression that makes the drive smooth and creamy.

The tone knob has been specifically designed to tame the upper harmonics when using higher gain levels, or to brighten the sound when using lower to medium saturation.

By combining the controls, you can access four distinct tone combinations, all musical and versatile, perfect for a wide range of situations.

Thanks to optimized component placement on the circuit board and careful ground plane management, the signal-to-noise ratio has been significantly improved.

The quality of the key components has also been upgraded, offering an even richer, more defined sound.
