It does so because it is built following the same philosophy of the golden-era tape echoes: at its heart beats a bucket brigade chip capable of 750 ms of delay time, paired with a high-quality, state-of-the-
art Op-Amp that enhances your guitar tone in a warm and perfectly transparent way. The Echolab is a two-faced delay. It can sit back behind your tone during guitar solos, adding just
the space you need to achieve "that" sound, but it can also assert itself with authority on the most percussive rhythm parts.
The Echolab's repeats are characterized by an intentional progressive degradation that gives the effect a unique three-dimensionality, capable of supporting your playing with a natural and musical spatiality.
Operation is immediate and intuitive: find your setup and let yourself be followed by a delay that responds dynamically to your touch, from the most delicate brush of the strings to the most aggressive pick attack.
For an even more dynamic experience and improved signal-to-noise ratio, power the pedal at 12 volts.

The Echolab, like the entire Costalab lineup, is equipped with True Bypass and an anti-pop filter, for transparent and artifact-free integration into your signal chain.
The unit is powered by 9-12 DC volts and is connected by the classic DC 2.1 mm plug with negative pole-center. The current draw is less than 30 mA.
